Do I need to enter every listing field by hand?

No. A listing can be imported from your Hostaway account, from an Airbnb listing link or from a Booking.com link, and you fill in only what the import did not bring.

Updated 20 Oct 2026

No. Start the new listing from an import and the title, texts, photos and amenities come with it. You then go through the remaining steps and fill in what is left.

Open Listings and press + New listing. Step 1, Start, offers four ways in: Import from Airbnb, From Hostaway, Start blank and Copy an existing listing.

From Hostaway

From Hostaway is shown once your own Hostaway account is connected (Settings → Integrations → Hostaway, see How do I create the Hostaway API key?).

  1. Choose From Hostaway.
  2. Pick the listing from the Hostaway listing list. It lists every listing in your Hostaway account that is not in Anystay yet.
  3. Press Import listing. It can take a minute.

What comes over: the title and the descriptions in every language you wrote them in, the photos, the amenities, guest and room counts, the address, the prices and the check-in and checkout times, and the house rules. The listing is linked to Hostaway, so its calendar and bookings sync from then on. Bookings Anystay had already synced before the import attach to the listing on the next sync.

The next step, Basics, says what came over and what did not. The remaining steps are Photos, Price & rules, Access, Cleaning, Owner and Publish. Nothing is published until you press Publish yourself.

To pull a listing again later, open it and use the Hostaway import card: Re-import from Hostaway fills in blanks only, so your own edits stay. Tick Force to replace them with what Hostaway has.

  1. Choose Import from Airbnb.
  2. Paste the public link of the listing into Airbnb listing link and type the Street address. Airbnb does not show the exact address, so it cannot be read from the page.
  3. Tick This is my own listing, or one I manage with the owner's permission, and press Import listing.

What comes over: the title and the description in the languages you wrote them, the photos, the amenities, guests, bedrooms, beds and baths, and the location. Only your listing is copied, never your reviews or your Airbnb profile. House rules and check-in times are not on the public page, so add those after. Airbnb's price is not your direct rate, so set the nightly price on Price & rules.

The same box takes a Booking.com link. It fills in what the public page shows, which is less than the Airbnb or Hostaway import, so expect to add photos and texts after.

Whichever route you start from, the nightly price, the VAT rate and the check-in method are yours to set per listing. An import never publishes anything.
